Tune
Sequenced by Christian Souchon

"This air has verses to the colonel of Glengarry's regiment in Prince Charles' army (Angus Og - cf. Alexander Of Glengarry, note 7), who was killed by a random shot from one of his own men on the street of Falkirk in 1745, an event which much deranged their proceedings. There are words also on Lord Lovat's decapitation"
