A buried star, gleaming though it has ceased to shine,
Into the leaden sea sank on the blood-hued shore.
The sky submissively does not stir any more.
Can the word that all things in deep silence confine
Be claimed by shriller shrieks, be known by greater lore?
The ant bear burrowing into these entrails got
The scent of sounds, atoms and flights, all in a maze.
Stars that do not glimmer, entangled in that knot,
Interweave their frolic and their motionless chase,
And they divest your eyes by their swiftness, this smart
Eyrie, spinning eddy of grains that the void hails.
The flight blurs the flapping of the wings in its trail.
Invisibility when the wall falls apart,
Becoming a vibrant, thick, yet fragile rampart.
