MERMAID'S SONG 9
Dreamy. If her forehead leans on her fist and clouds
And if a surge of blood through her parched throat crowds,
Seaming her dream with webs of wings, dawning the nights
With so strong a perfume that, absent, it delights
Her nose, a promise that, unaware, she divines
Fills her as would the flasks the concealed dark wines
